Job Description: SAP Technical Lead/Architect (US Project - India) Location: India (Remote/Hybrid) About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP Technical Lead/Architect to join our dynamic team, focusing on critical projects. This role requires a professional with a strong background in SAP technical design, architecture, and system migration, particularly to hyperscaler environments. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in SAP and HANA administration, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) setups, coupled with a fundamental understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure for SAP workloads. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable SAP solutions, ensuring seamless operations and business continuity for our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to the technical design and architecture of complex SAP landscapes, aligning with business requirements and best practices. Drive and execute SAP system migration projects to hyperscaler platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance. Perform hands-on SAP Basis and HANA administration tasks, including system installations, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Design, implement, and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SAP and HANA systems to ensure continuous operation and data integrity. Collaborate closely with US-based project teams, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members on SAP technical best practices and hyperscaler deployments. Monitor SAP systems for performance, security, and stability, proactively addressing issues and implementing preventative measures. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, standards, and procedures. Required Qualifications Experience: 4 to 9 years of strong, progressive experience in SAP technical roles, with a focus on architecture, administration, and migration. Strong Experience in SAP Technical Design and Architecture: Proven ability to design scalable, robust, and secure SAP landscapes. Strong Experience in SAP System Migration to Hyperscaler: Demonstrated success in migrating SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) to public cloud providers. Hands-on Experience in SAP & HANA Administration and HA/DR Setup: Proficiency in SAP Basis administration tasks across various SAP modules. In-depth hands-on experience with SAP HANA database administration, including installation, configuration, backup/restore, and performance optimization. Mandatory: Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA (e.g., HANA System Replication, Pacemaker, OS clustering). Basic Understanding of GCP Infrastructure for SAP Workloads: Familiarity with core GCP services (Compute Engine, Networking, Storage, IAM) relevant to hosting and managing SAP systems. Mandatory Strong understanding of GCP Basics specifically in the context of SAP Basis and SAP HANA Administration. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a global team environment, collaborating with US-based counterparts. Preferred Qualifications SAP Basis or SAP HANA certifications. GCP Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect). Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Ansible, Python) for SAP operations.
