Facilities Executive Work Dynamics What this job involves Inspects and analyse equipment and diagnoses trouble or malfunctions and makes necessary adjustments to minimize service interruptions and equipment downtime Provides input to the planning of equipment system maintenance to minimize service interruptions and equipment downtime through reliability cantered maintenance practices Executing a wide variety of maintenance and repair work in relation to the installation, maintenance, and repairs of chillers, HVAC equipment, and building equipment and infrastructure in general. May oversee the execution of daily operations and maintenance activities performed by JLL and/or contract personnel. Provide guidance and mentoring, as needed, to ensure personnel perform the tasks required in a complete and accurate manner and delivered with outstanding customer service. Performs a wide variety of complex operating procedures to ensure the proper operation of the lab utilities, emergency generator operation, and others. Conducts scheduled tours of the lab, chiller area and lab utility equipment to include cooling towers, emergency equipment rooms, main switchgear rooms, air handling machine rooms. Completes tours and watches according to predetermined schedules and reports status. During after hour’s shifts, responds to all emergencies, and takes appropriate action to identify problems and take corrective actions without compromising watch duties. Calls on duty mechanics for assistance and or utilizes emergency call list when necessary. Will always maintain all engineering/electrical spaces in a clean and neat manner. Review executed work orders, logs, forms, and related documentation on a daily basis to help ensure they are complete, current, and reflect the tasks as performed, and are appropriated filed in the CMMS, or other required system. Ensure all safety, environmental, and site standards are strictly adhered to within the facility by both JLL and any JLL vendors performing work. Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, all applicable building codes and JLL policies and procedures. Must be able to work, including off hours, weekends, and emergency conditions. Good knowledge in usage of bench test equipment and experience in data Collection Preparing test setup for customer requirements and working with them for any support on equipment’s Operating knowledge of various test equipment’s like, DC power supplies, Function/Signal generator, Source meter LAB Inventory monitoring Approaching vendors for lab infrastructure development. Role Summary:
Responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and support of testing utilities and mechanical & electrical (M&E) infrastructure within Lite Labs. This role ensures uninterrupted functionality of lab equipment, adherence to safety standards, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders for infrastructure-related activities. Key Responsibilities:Testing Utilities Management:
Oversee the setup, operation, and shutdown of utilities supporting lab testing tools. Coordinate power and utility requirements for equipment relocation and installation. Monitor utility performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. M&E Infrastructure Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards for HVAC, electrical panels, DG sets, UPS systems, and other critical infrastructure. Liaise with OEMs and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and audits. Coordination & Documentation:
Collaborate with lab users, facility teams, and vendors for infrastructure planning and execution. Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance schedules, and incident reports. Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the lab environment. Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and statutory regulations. Participate in risk assessments and implement corrective actions as needed. Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience in lab infrastructure management or facilities maintenance. Knowledge of testing utilities, M&E systems, and safety protocols.
