Responsibilities

• Audit of Monthly Settlement Reports and BOAs: Conduct thorough audits of monthly settlement reports and Balance of Accounts (BOAs).
• Contract Rate Maintenance: Maintain and update the report of contract rates between UPS and Authorized Service Contractor vendors.
• Point of Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for UPS and Authorized Service Contractor vendors.
• P/L Variance Analysis: Support management in answering Profit and Loss (P/L) variance analysis questions during month-end.
• Training: Prepare training plans and arrange training sessions for new joiners. Train third parties on UPS applications.
• Collections: Work to achieve the collection of unsettled balances, including resolution and follow-up.
• Compliance: Ensure all payments are contractually paid as per UPS compliance guidelines.
• Billing Corrections: Ensure all billing corrections are done timely and accurately as per set procedures and guidelines. Resolve shipment disputes.
• Payment Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of payment calculations.
• Billing Resolutions: Provide urgent and immediate billing resolutions and support coordinators in settlement-related queries.
• Query Resolution: Answer queries from third parties related to payments and settlement reports.
• Coordination: Arrange calls with third parties and UPS internal customers to efficiently resolve settlement-related queries.
• Audit Preparation: Maintain data for Internal Audit and SOX audit.
• Payment Initiation: Initiate payments to third parties within given timelines.
  

Pre-Requisites

• Time Management: Strong time management and excellent organizational skills.
• Communication: Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Strong communication skills.
• Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel.
• Flexibility: Ability to achieve specific recurrent monthly deadlines.
• Independence: Ability to work independently on own initiative, under pressure, and to deadlines.
• Accuracy: High level of accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
• Accounting Experience: Basic accounting experience is an advantage.
• Prioritization: Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadlines and time constraints.
