  • To identify, attract, and recruit qualified professionals for non-academic roles by implementing effective talent acquisition strategies. The role is responsible for building a strong employer brand, ensuring a smooth and engaging recruitment experience, and fostering positive relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders to support MIT World Peace Universitys organizational growth and operational excellence.

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy

    Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for non-academic roles across the university. Align talent acquisition plans with organizational goals, workforce planning, and departmental needs.
  • Employer Branding

    Promote MIT-WPU as an employer of choice for non-academic professionals through campaigns, events, and online presence. Enhance candidate engagement and improve the overall recruitment experience.
  • Stakeholder Management

    Partner with department heads, HR leadership, and hiring managers to understand role requirements, timelines, and selection criteria. Advise departments on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
  • Workforce Planning and Analytics

    Monitor talent pipelines and anticipate future hiring needs in collaboration with HR and departmental leadership. Use recruitment metrics and analytics to optimize hiring strategies and pro cesses.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence

    Ensure all recruitment activities comply with university policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement

    Identify process gaps or bottlenecks in recruitment operations and recommend improvements. Implement best practices in sourcing, assessment, and onboarding for non-academic positions.

Operational

End-to-End Recruitment Management

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for non-teaching positions across various departments and functional units.
  • Coordinate and execute sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and selection activities within defined timelines.

Posting & Requisition Handling

  • Publish approved job descriptions on internal and external platforms (HR One, job portals, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Maintain updated records of open requisitions and hiring progress.

Candidate Sourcing & Pipeline Development

  • Source quality candidates through multiple channel s job portals, employee referrals, social media, and professional networks.
  • Build and maintain a database of potential candidates for future hiring needs.

Interview Coordination & Stakeholder Management

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with department heads and panel members.
  • Ensure timely communication with candidates regarding interview logistics and outcomes.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Collect, verify, and maintain candidate documents as per HR policy.
  • Ensure all hiring activities adhere to institutional policies and statutory guidelines.

Offer Management & Onboarding Support

  • Prepare offer letters, negotiate compensation within defined bands, and support pre-joining formalities.
  • Coordinate onboarding sessions in collaboration with HR Operations.

Recruitment Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate recruitment dashboards and trackers.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly hiring status reports for review by HR leadership.

Vendor Coordination (if applicable)

  • Liaise with recruitment agencies for specific roles and ensure timely delivery of shortlisted profiles.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities in the recruitment workflow.
  • Contribute to enhancing candidate experience and employer branding during the recruitment process.

Financial and Budget

Collaborations

  • Supervise recruiting personnel.
  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centers or other events.

Academic

  • Bac helors degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • 25 years of professional experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in non-teaching or corporate hiring roles.
  • Masters Degree / Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations (MBA/PGDM in HR) preferred.
  • Additional certifications in Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics, or Recruitment Tools will be an added advantage.
