About the Company

We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to support business growth for our oilfield machine shop by promoting premium threading services, OCTG machining, and specialized oilfield manufacturing solutions. This role requires strong exposure to oil & gas industry practices, customer engagement, and close coordination with internal manufacturing teams. The position reports directly to Senior Sales.


About the Role

This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers to drive repeat and long-term business.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with oil & gas operators, drilling contractors, service companies, OEMs, and traders.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing customers to drive repeat and long-term business.
  • Handle RFQs, techno-commercial discussions, pricing negotiations, order finalization, and follow-ups to ensure timely conversion.
  • Coordinate with customers and QA/QC teams on material test certificates (MTCs), grade verification, traceability, and compliance with API and customer requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams (production planning, quality, inspection, and dispatch) to track order status, delivery commitments, and inspection schedules.
  • Support commercial and contractual activities including PO review, order acknowledgments, and clarification of technical and commercial terms.
  • Ensure accurate documentation such as COCs, MTCs, inspection release notes, packing lists, and invoices in line with applicable standards and internal quality systems.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks within the oilfield machining and premium connections segment.
  • Prepare sales reports, customer visit reports, MOMs, and maintain accurate CRM or sales tracking records.


Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of oilfield raw materials including casing, tubing, drill pipe, OCTG accessories, alloy and carbon steel grades, material specifications, heat treatment, and mechanical properties.
  • Sound exposure to machine shop operations such as turning, threading, milling, inspection, finishing, and packaging.
  • Familiarity with API standards, customer specifications, and third-party/customer inspections.


Required Skills

  • Strong customer handling and negotiation skills.
  • Good techno-commercial understanding.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with manufacturing and quality teams.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and detail-focused.

The role may include additional sales, technical coordination, and business development responsibilities aligned with organizational objectives.
