Event Coordinator

As an Event Planner, your role involves planning, designing, and executing events while ensuring timely project delivery. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and ensure customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and providing feedback to participants. Additionally, you will be expected to propose ideas for enhancing services and event quality. Key Responsibilities: - Organize facilities and manage all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, and guest lists. - Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to promote and publicize events effectively. - Address queries and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during events. - Evaluate pre- and post-event outcomes to enhance future event planning. - Research market trends, identify event opportunities, and engage in generating interest. - Develop new business leads through mailings and cold calling prospective clients. - Analyze past event data to enhance the sponsorship strategy for current events. - Produce documents, maintain records, and utilize software packages for efficient organization. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in event planning, design, and production. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access. - Excellent networking abilities with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
