It will be your responsibility to provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders and propose ideas to enhance services and event quality. You will be required to organize facilities and manage all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc. Ensuring compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations, as well as specifying staff requirements and coordinating their activities, will be part of your duties. Collaboration with marketing and PR teams to promote and publicize events is crucial. Being proactive in handling any arising issues and troubleshooting emerging problems on the event day is expected. Conducting pre- and post-event evaluations and reporting on outcomes will also be necessary. Additionally, you will need to research the market, identify event opportunities, and generate interest in events.
