Estimation Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of LV Panels, Control Panels, MCC, PCC & Customized Panels
• Ability to read and interpret control philosophy, GA, schematics & wiring drawings
• BOM preparation and material costing
• Vendor RFQ handling and techno-commercial comparison
• Cost sheet preparation and margin understanding
• Working knowledge of Zoho CRM / Zoho Inventory / ERP systems
• Understanding of procurement, production & FAT processes
• Knowledge of ISO documentation and audit requirements

Technical Skills:

A. Inquiry Handling & Customer Communication

• Handle inquiry inputs and coordinate new customer creation in Zoho through internal sales
• Communicate with customers via phone/email to clarify technical or commercial queries
• Understand customer requirements, scope, and application

B. Design Input & Concept Understanding

• Collect and review control philosophy, schematic drawings, and technical details
• Support development of project concept in coordination with Project Manager / Engineering

C. BOM Preparation & Technical Clarifications

• Prepare accurate BOM based on customer inputs and drawings Resolve technical difficulties during BOM preparation by coordinating with customer and internal teams Finalize BOM in alignment with offer and customer expectations

D. Vendor Coordination & RFQ Management

• Float RFQs to approved vendors to obtain competitive pricing Follow up with vendors for price, delivery, and MOQ confirmation Re-check material availability and revised prices for additional customer requirements

E. Cost Estimation & Offer Preparation

• Prepare detailed cost sheets using vendor prices Apply discounts, check MOQ, and ensure cost accuracy Support Project Manager in preparing competitive and profitable offers

F. Offer Submission & Revisions

• Verify offer accuracy against inquiry and cost sheet Support submission of offers and revised offers as per customer or vendor inputs Assist in technical clarifications during negotiation stage

G. Order Processing & Zoho Updates

• Support PO review by verifying alignment with final offer Assist in creation of Sales Order (SO) and cost center in Zoho Upload approved BOM in Zoho for purchase and inventory actions

H. Project Support During Execution

• Participate in Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) Support purchase review and material tracking Coordinate with production team to resolve material-related issues Support FAT preparation and inspection activities

I. Dispatch & Documentation Support

• Assist in preparation of dispatch documents, as-built BOM & drawings Support audit queries related to excess or bundling materials Assist in packing list preparation and dispatch review

J. Commercial & Closure Support

• Support invoice submission coordination Assist in delivery and payment follow-ups as required
• Support project closure documentation and payment acknowledgment

Qualification:

Diploma/ B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Telecommunication)

Experience required: 0 to 10 yrs. in Similar Industry (System Integrator)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
