Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an ESG Consultant located in Chennai. The ESG Consultant will be responsible for performing sustainability assessments, preparing reports, and developing strategies for decarbonisation. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, analyzing sustainability data, ensuring compliance with standards and certifications, and advising on renewable energy methods, carbon reduction, and energy efficiency in built environments.

• Represent CONSERVE and explain our services and their benefits to clients and stakeholders.
• Understand and assess client requirements and offer them suitable solutions to meet their sustainability objectives.
• Interact with the marketing team to convert sustainable strategies into business
• Travel across the sites/ region for developing for business and to complete the projects.
• Manage the projects along with our internal technical teams for delivering the project milestones as per client requirements and timelines.
• Support clients in various transitions (such as Decarbonization, Net Zero Energy, Carbon, waste, water etc.), leveraging various digital tools.
• Review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.

Qualifications

• Should be an Engineer with at least 3-7 years of experience in the Building Industry or Equipment (HVAC, STP, Transformers, etc.)/ MEP Design/ Green Building Certification.
• Strong knowledge of green certifications such as LEED, GRIHA, IGBC, or ISO 14000
• Skills in renewable energy solutions and carbon credit mechanisms
• Proficiency in writing detailed technical reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships
• Knowledge of sustainable building materials, design techniques, and building performance analysis
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Understanding of sustainability standards and frameworks for diverse project types
