Finance Lead (BPO Background Only)
We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience to lead and oversee the finance and accounts function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including bookkeeping, vendor billing, financial reporting, compliance, audits, taxation, budgeting, and strategic planning. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical, analytical, and team management capabilities.

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience to lead and oversee the finance and accounts function.The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end financial management, including bookkeeping, vendor billing, financial reporting, compliance, audits, taxation, budgeting, and strategic planning. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical, analytical, and team management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Oversee and ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of all financial data.
Vendor Billing & Payables Management
- Supervise end-to-end vendor billing processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and timely payments.
- Review accounts payable and ensure reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Resolve escalated vendor issues and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior leadership with insights and recommendations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting process, prepare rolling forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to monitor financial performance against budgets.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Handle tax planning, assessments, and liaise with consultants and tax authorities.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits end-to-end.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and ensure process compliance.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow, banking, and fund requirements.
- Liaise with banks for credit facilities, term loans, and treasury operations.
MIS & Financial Analysis
- Oversee preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and financial KPIs for management.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide actionable insights for business decisions.
ERP & Process Optimization
- Manage financial ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.).
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and standardization of accounting practices.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants and finance professionals.
- Ensure continuous training and development of finance staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounts roles.
- Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, and experience with accounting and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
