About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. This role is pivotal in managing and integrating advanced endpoint protection platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trend Micro Vision One. The individual will be responsible for platform lifecycle management, including strategic roadmap execution, risk mitigation, and vendor coordination. The role demands hands-on expertise in policy configuration, incident response, and platform integration across diverse environments including Windows, UNIX, and Linux systems. Candidates should have a minimum of five years’ experience in IT, with at least three years in endpoint security tools.
What You’ll Do
- Lead deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trend Micro Vision One.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis for endpoint platforms.
- Manage onboarding of endpoints and integration with SIEM tools such as Splunk and HP ArcSight.
- Handle complex changes, major incidents, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Collaborate with global teams and vendors to ensure seamless platform operations.
- Design and implement new security patches and upgrades.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting aligned with Vodafone and industry benchmarks.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in endpoint security operations.
Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, with 3 years in endpoint security tools.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trend Micro Vision One.
- Proficient in policy creation, platform integration, and SIEM tool configuration.
- Skilled in operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux.
- Familiar with ITIL practices; certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work in a multicultural, matrixed environment with occasional travel to Europe.
- Holds a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
