About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on and technically sound

Electrical Service Engineer

to join our growing service and maintenance team focused on

resistance welding machinery

. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving complex engineering problems, working on-site with industrial clients, and ensuring the reliable performance of high-end machinery.Whether you're a fresh graduate or an experienced technician, this role offers the opportunity to work across the full equipment lifecycle—from installation to long-term support—while developing deep technical expertise and customer relationship skills.

What You’ll Do

Installation & Commissioning

Execute site installations of resistance welding systems, including wiring, connections, and functional testing.Conduct equipment commissioning, calibration, and configuration based on technical specifications.Complete installation documentation, safety checklists, and customer handover protocols.🔧

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Perform regular servicing and maintenance to ensure machines run at peak efficiency.Maintain logs of service schedules, maintenance tasks, and operational parameters.Identify components nearing end-of-life and recommend replacements proactively.🧠

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

Analyze electrical faults in control panels, PLCs, circuits, and wiring systems.Respond to breakdowns both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal machine downtime.Liaise with technical teams for complex fault resolution or component upgrades.🤝

Customer Training & Support

Train operators and maintenance teams on the use, care, and safety aspects of welding systems.Provide ongoing technical support and best-practice guidance post-installation.Capture customer feedback and relay insights to improve product or service performance.📋

Reporting & Coordination

Prepare detailed service reports, including issue diagnosis, resolution steps, and follow-up actions.Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for parts or system upgrades.Uphold safety, quality, and documentation standards on all field visits.

What You Bring

🎓

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in

Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering

, or related field.💡

Technical Expertise

Good understanding of industrial control systems including relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and PLCs.Ability to read and interpret

electrical schematics

, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.Exposure to or strong interest in

resistance welding machines

or similar heavy industrial systems.🧳

Work Environment Readiness

Willingness to travel frequently for on-site work across client locations.Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining service discipline.

⭐ Preferred (for Experienced Candidates)

Prior experience with

field servicing of industrial machinery

.Familiarity with industrial safety standards and PPE usage.Hands-on experience in maintenance planning or predictive diagnostics.
