Job Summary : The EOT Crane Electrical Service Engineer is responsible for the electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of EOT cranes. The role requires on-site service visits, diagnosing faults, and ensuring the cranes operate efficiently and safely in industrial environments. Key Responsibilities : Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and breakdown service for EOT cranes. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, panels, control systems, and wiring. Install and commission new EOT cranes and associated electrical systems. Calibrate and maintain VFDs, PLCs, limit switches, contactors, relays, and other electrical components. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and protocols. Liaise with clients to understand issues and provide technical support. Provide feedback to the design or manufacturing team on recurring issues or improvements. Preferred Skills : Experience with Siemens / Schneider / ABB drives and PLCs. Hands-on experience with crane automation systems. Basic mechanical knowledge for integrated troubleshooting. Working Conditions : Travel to customer sites (local and outstation). Work at heights and in industrial environments. May involve extended working hours during breakdowns or urgent service calls.
