Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Conga CPQ, CLM Architect with proven expertise in designing, building, and implementing scalable Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions on the Conga (Apttus) platform.
Responsibilities
The role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce, enterprise-level integration patterns, and strong solution design skills to enable seamless automation of complex business Responsibilities Design & Development :
- Design, architect, and develop robust Conga CPQ and CLM solutions that align with business goals, ensuring scalability, performance, and Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Define CPQ/CLM data models, approval workflows, and pricing configurations tailored to organizational needs.
- Establish best practices in configuration, custom development, and automation for Conga CPQ/CLM & Delivery :
- Lead full lifecycle Conga CPQ/CLM project implementations, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-production support.
- Ensure seamless integration of Conga CPQ/CLM with Salesforce CRM and other enterprise applications.
- Deliver high-quality configurations and customizations using Conga Composer, Conga Contracts, Conga Orchestrate, and Conga Approvals.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring solutions meet SLAs and user adoption Leadership :
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to developers, administrators, and consultants across multiple projects.
- Establish coding standards, perform detailed code reviews, and enforce development best practices.
- Drive solution governance, design reviews, and technical Solving & Support :
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to CPQ/CLM, integrations, workflows, and automation.
- Perform root cause analysis on complex issues and design preventive solutions.
- Optimize pricing engines, approval rules, and contract lifecycle processes for improved Expertise :
- Architect, design, and implement integrations between Conga CPQ/CLM and third-party systems such as ERP, billing, e-signature platforms, and data warehouses.
- Leverage REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica, etc.), and Salesforce-native integration capabilities.
- Ensure data consistency, synchronization, and high availability across integrated Engagement :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and functional consultants to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Conduct solution workshops, demonstrations, and design sessions with cross-functional teams.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and architecting Conga CPQ and CLM solutions.
- Strong expertise in Salesforce platform development : Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL.
- Proven experience with Conga CPQ functionalities : Product configuration, Pricing Rules, Discounting, Guided Selling, Contract Authoring, and Renewals.
- Hands-on experience with Conga CLM : Contract lifecycle workflows, template management, redlining, and approval automation.
- Experience integrating CPQ/CLM with enterprise systems (ERP, Billing, Finance, CRM, and e-signature platforms such as DocuSign/Adobe Sign).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.
- Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, integration middleware, and data migration strategies.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Copado, or Gearset).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels
