Director of Product Management

Role description: This role is with one of our portfolio companies.

The product management individual will lead the vision, strategy, and execution for our portfolio. This role is essential in developing intuitive, meaningful, and scalable solutions that resonate with millions of users while driving business results. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery, balancing user-centric innovation with operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define both short-term and long-term product vision and strategy, aligning them with business objectives and user needs.
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing impactful features and projects.
• Gain a deep understanding of user personas and pain points through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Provide insights to product teams to ensure a customer-centric approach for our products and platforms across all core offerings.
• Leverage analytics, user feedback, and market insights to optimize product performance continuously.
• Define success metrics (KPIs) and assess the impact of new features and updates.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to drive seamless product execution.
• Act as a product evangelist within the organization, aligning stakeholders on product goals and strategies.
• Implement systems to streamline operational efficiency, including processes for product experimentation and rollout.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Candidate experience: Desired skills

• 10-12 years in

  B2B SaaS / Tech product companies

  , with a proven record of building and scaling enterprise-grade products.
• A proven track record in

  building 0-1 products

  , owning and executing product strategy throughout the entire product lifecycle, from inception to go-to-market.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong teams of product owners and designers, with skills in nurturing talent and creating exceptional products.
• Strong expertise in defining and tracking product success metrics (NPS, retention, engagement).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, bringing order to chaos in a way that creates value.
• Comfort speaking in forums, conferences, and boardrooms.
• Solid hands-on experience and desire to continue building customer stories and work closely with development and user experience teams.
