Role Overview:

Supply Chain Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all procurement and supply chain activities across multiple projects and operational divisions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing and category management frameworks.
  • Manage full procurement cycles including RFI/RFQ/RFP/BAFO, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
  • Draft, review, and finalize EPC/EPCM, O&M, and service contracts in alignment with project and financial goals.
  • Establish and enforce supply chain policies, governance frameworks, and ethical sourcing standards.
  • Oversee the management of long-lead items including manufacturing schedules, FAT/SAT, logistics, and site delivery.
  • Implement eSourcing and ERP systems for improved transparency and efficiency.
  • Lead vendor qualification, performance monitoring, and compliance with ESG, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Operations on procurement planning and cash flow optimization.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain team across procurement, logistics, and contracts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Long-lead equipment delivery and lead-time optimization.
  • On-time delivery performance against project schedules.
  • Contract execution and award cycle time.
  • Supplier performance metrics (OTD, quality compliance, non-conformance rate).
  • Procurement policy adherence and audit compliance.
  • Achievement of local content and cost-saving targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration

    ; Master’s or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum

    12–15 years of experience

    in strategic procurement and supply chain management, with

    5+ years in major construction, industrial, or data infrastructure projects

    .
  • Proven experience managing long-lead equipment procurement and complex contract structures.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC and O&M contracts, bankable frameworks, and commercial risk management.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in

    ERP/eSourcing systems

    and supplier performance management tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
