Required Skills

Must Have:

• Demonstrated experience leading Finance Transformation initiatives across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), FP&A, Costing, and Financial Close.
• Knowledge of Finance functions in any ERP platform (SAP/Oracle/JDE/ others) and corresponding Finance Data Models.
• Expertise in designing and operationalizing digital finance solutions powered by cloud platforms, modern data architecture, analytics, AI, and automation.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting, driver‑based modeling, scenario planning, and performance management.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise finance operating models, controls, policies, financial reporting, and governance.
• Hands-on exposure to data engineering concepts, data modeling, ETL pipelines, and integration of financial systems with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Ability to translate finance requirements into analytical & AI use cases (forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive insights, cash flow modeling, etc.).
• Familiarity with analytics tools and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, SAC, Quicksight).
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills with experience managing global teams.
• Excellent communication and executive‑level presentation capabilities.
  

Nice To Have

• Experience with AI/ML life cycle, MLOps, automation tools, and financial data governance.
• Understanding GenAI‐enabled finance workflows, copilots, and intelligent assistants.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, dbt).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to think through complex user scenarios and design simple yet effective user interactions.
  

Roles And Responsibilities

Leadership

• Shape and strengthen PwC’s Digital Finance offering within CEDA.
• Drive thought leadership, capability building, and go‑to‑market expansion.
• Mentor and develop teams to deliver high‑impact digital finance transformation engagements.
  

Sales

• Work closely with Practice leadership and clients to build proposals, RFP and accounting for budgetary plans.
  

Project Delivery and Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital finance transformation programs involving process redesign, data & analytics modernization, and AI‑driven insights.
• Manage communication and project delivery between India and US teams
• Manage client proposals, presentations, timelines, quality and act as subject matter expert on finance processes, digital architecture, and analytical solutions.
• Structure the approach and deliverables for multiple analytics engagements simultaneously
• Manage team members proactively
• Help junior members develop the analytics path to align with overall project objective
• And mentor juniors and team members on analytics and project delivery best practices
• Help assess the impact of work and conduct so-what analysis.
• Develop storylines and make presentations
  

Firm Building & Intellectual Capital Development

• Contribute to innovation accelerators, frameworks, and reusable assets.
• Publish thought leadership white papers, and internal knowledge artifacts.
• Support talent development through coaching and capability uplift.
  

Subject Matter Expert

• Stay current with global finance transformation trends, cloud & data technologies, and evolving AI capabilities.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to bring integrated, end‑to‑end digital finance solutions to clients.
• Act as a Digital Finance SME during pursuits and client workshops.
