Job Description-Digital Marketing Head

Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Role Overview

BlockToBox Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Head to lead all online marketing activities and drive traffic, brand awareness, and sales growth. The ideal candidate should be strategic, data-driven, and well-versed in e-commerce platforms like Shopify and other digital tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies

Create data-driven marketing plans across SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns. Align all digital activities with overall business goals to increase brand visibility, lead generation, and revenue. Continuously refine strategies based on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor insights.

  • Lead and optimize performance marketing campaigns

Plan, launch, and manage ROI-focused campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid platforms. Conduct A/B testing, optimize ad creatives, refine audience targeting, and manage bidding strategies to improve conversions, reduce cost per acquisition (CPA), and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).

  • Manage and enhance the Shopify e-commerce website

Oversee the complete Shopify storefront—including theme customization, product listings, product descriptions, on-page SEO, store navigation, and user experience improvements. Implement and maintain high-performing apps for sales funnels, automation, reviews, and customer engagement. Ensure smooth performance, fast loading speed, and mobile optimization.

  • Utilize digital tools and analytics platforms effectively

Leverage tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Meta Business Suite, WhatsApp marketing platforms, email automation tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.), and CRM systems to track user behavior, monitor traffic sources, and measure campaign KPIs. Use insights to improve marketing efficiency and customer retention.

  • Oversee content creation and brand communication

Plan and guide content across social media, website blogs, product pages, and email newsletters. Ensure brand consistency in tone, design, and messaging. Coordinate with designers, photographers, and content teams for promotional campaigns, product launches, and seasonal branding initiatives.

  • Manage marketplace integrations and expansion

Handle product listings, catalog updates, pricing strategies, and promotional activities on marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, or relevant third-party platforms. Ensure seamless inventory syncing, order flow, and campaign optimization across all channels.

  • Analyze campaign performance and generate actionable reports

Prepare detailed weekly/monthly reports summarizing campaign performance, user engagement, customer acquisition, and sales outcomes. Identify gaps, trends, and opportunities, and recommend strategies to improve digital performance.

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate the digital marketing team

Provide direction, training, and support to digital marketers, designers, and content creators. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure smooth communication with sales, operations, and product teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Manage budgets and identify new growth opportunities

Allocate and track digital marketing budgets across channels. Evaluate new tools, platforms, and emerging trends to identify potential growth avenues such as influencer marketing, affiliate partnerships, automation technologies, or new ad networks.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in digital marketing, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, social media management, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience working in e-commerce (industrial tools/machinery domain preferred).
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
