Job Description

As the Brand Strategy & Positioning professional at OPPO Kerala, your primary responsibility will be to define and implement brand positioning strategies to excel in a highly competitive market. You will be tasked with ensuring consistent messaging across all channels such as retail, online, and events. Additionally, you will play a key role in building and strengthening brand equity and customer loyalty for OPPO Kerala. - Conduct regular market research to gain insights into consumer preferences, competitor movements, and industry trends. - Analyze sales data, market share, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats for product development, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns. In the realm of Campaign Planning & Execution: - Plan and implement 360-degree marketing campaigns encompassing Above-The-Line (ATL), Below-The-Line (BTL), and digital marketing initiatives. - Design product launch strategies, promotional activities, and seasonal campaigns while collaborating with creative agencies, media houses, and internal teams for seamless execution. Retail & Trade Marketing will be another area of focus: - Develop and execute trade marketing strategies to drive sell-out at retail stores. - Plan and support in-store branding, Point of Sale (POS) materials, and experiential zones. - Organize retail staff training and incentive programs to boost product push in retail environments. In the realm of Digital & Social Media Marketing: - Craft digital marketing plans encompassing Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), social media campaigns, and influencer partnerships. - Monitor online reputation and engage with customers across various online platforms. - Drive e-commerce promotions and form partnerships with online marketplaces to expand OPPO Kerala's digital presence. Collaboration with sales teams: - Align marketing activities with sales targets, provide essential marketing tools, and actively participate in sales strategy meetings and performance reviews. Planning and managing participation in events and sponsorships: - Coordinate roadshows, experiential marketing activities, and sponsorship initiatives to increase OPPO Kerala's brand visibility. Budgeting & ROI Tracking: - Prepare and manage marketing budgets, track ROI on different campaigns, and optimize spending for maximum impact. - Present budget utilization and performance reports to management to demonstrate the effectiveness of your strategies. Cross-functional Coordination: - Collaborate with product, supply chain, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. - Work closely with regional marketing teams for localized campaigns. In the domain of Customer Relationship Management (CRM): - Develop and implement loyalty programs and post-sale engagement strategies. - Analyze customer lifecycle data to enhance retention and cross-selling opportunities for strong customer relationships. Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Creativity and a solid understanding of mobile technology trends. - Strong leadership and team management capabilities. - Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
