Deputy Manager – Channel Sales

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Operations

  • Manage daily operations on platforms like

    Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra

    and jewellery-specific marketplaces.
  • Ensure accurate product listings (descriptions, images, pricing, inventory).
  • Monitor rankings, reviews, and ratings to maintain premium brand presence.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop strategies to maximize marketplace sales and revenue.
  • Plan promotions, campaigns, and offers tailored to jewellery.
  • Optimize pricing and positioning to balance competitiveness and margins.

Product & Content Management

  • Collaborate with design/content teams for high-quality images and descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines for jewellery categories.

Payment Reconciliation

  • Reconcile marketplace payments with sales reports.
  • Address discrepancies/delays with account teams.
  • Maintain records of open payments and provide financial updates.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong ties with marketplace account managers.
  • Resolve escalations, returns, and order discrepancies.

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Work with logistics teams to ensure stock availability and timely fulfilment.
  • Monitor slow-moving items and plan clearance/discount strategies.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track metrics: sales, traffic, conversion rates.
  • Prepare reports highlighting trends and improvement areas.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure listings comply with hallmarking, authenticity, and material declarations.
  • Maintain brand integrity and product quality.

Market Research

  • Stay updated on jewellery industry trends and competitor strategies.
  • Recommend new product ideas based on insights.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of

    marketplace management experience

    (jewellery/luxury retail preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of jewellery categories, materials, and pricing.
  • Experience in

    payment reconciliation & financial management

    .
  • Proficiency in

    Seller Central, Excel, analytics tools

    .
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to

    digital marketing & SEO for marketplaces

    is a plus.
  • Marketplace sales growth & revenue contribution.
  • Accuracy/timeliness of payment reconciliations.
  • Account health & compliance with marketplace guidelines.
  • Inventory turnover & fulfilment rates.
  • Customer satisfaction scores.
  • Resolution of open payments/discrepancies.
