Position : Data Analytics & Automation Specialist Location : Ahmedabad, India (Onsite) Reports to : Chief Operations Officer / Chief Innovation Officer / Business Head About the Role We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Analytics & Automation Specialist to transform business data into actionable insights and implement automation to drive efficiency across departments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams — Sales, Marketing, Production, Customer Service, Finance — to help scale our operations and decision-making through smart data-driven processes. Key Responsibilities Data Analytics Design and maintain dashboards and reports for Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Inventory & Supply Chain Perform data extraction, cleansing, and preparation from multiple sources (CRM, ERP, Google Sheets, Databases, etc.) Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, predictive & prescriptive analysis as per business needs Track KPIs, trends, and provide actionable insights for business growth Conduct ROI analysis for campaigns, programs, and sales initiatives Automation Identify manual, repetitive processes and implement automation using suitable tools (Google Apps Script, Power Automate, Zapier, RPA tools, or similar) Build automated reports, alert systems & workflows for various departments Automate integration between CRM, Accounting Software, ERP, Inventory, and Marketing tools where feasible Collaborate with Tech, IT & Product teams to ensure seamless system integrations Strategic Initiatives Assist in setting up real-time performance dashboards for the leadership team Support Business & Operations in preparing investor reports, board packs, and MIS dashboards Provide ad-hoc analysis and automation for special projects (new product launch, channel performance, cost optimisation, etc.) Key Skills & Tools Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (must-have) Power BI / Tableau / Google Data Studio / Looker (preferred) SQL (preferred but not mandatory) Python / R for data analysis (good to have) Zapier / Power Automate / Google Apps Script (automation exposure is a big plus) CRM tools (Kylas, Hubspot, Salesforce) – understanding integrations Strong logical thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving attitude Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related fields 1-3 years of relevant experience in data analytics & automation roles Experience in a fast-paced startup / growth-stage company / product company is preferred Prior experience working cross-functionally is desirable About Us – INVENTINDIA InventIndia is an award-winning global Product Innovation Company specializing in game-changing, patentable products across multiple sectors: Medical Devices, FMCG, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, and more.We manage the full spectrum of product development, from concept to production, with 100+ successful products to date. 30,000 Sq. ft.
