Job Description: Data Analyst – Optorium Opticals

Location: Hyderabad, India

Employment Type: Full-Time

Timings: 10:00am to 7:30pm

Working Days: Monday to Saturday ( Sunday week off )

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team and leverage data insights to optimize the performance of our retail stores and e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data from retail and online store operations to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure store and website performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that improve sales, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Create reports and dashboards to present insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Utilize predictive analytics to forecast sales and inventory needs.
• Optimize marketing campaigns and promotions through data segmentation and performance analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing robust data collection and analysis processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in retail or e-commerce.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to present data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in retail analytics or inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of statistical programming languages like R or Python.
• Understanding of customer behavior analytics and personalization strategies.
