Dermatouch is a dermatologist-formulated, science-backed skincare brand designed for real results. Built on innovation and trust, we combine the precision of dermatology with the accessibility of D2C to make effective skincare available to every Indian household. With a growing online presence and a passionate customer base, Dermatouch is scaling rapidly — and we’re looking for a D2C leader to take us to the next level.


Role Overview

D2C Manager

You’ll build and execute a comprehensive digital commerce strategy that connects performance marketing, customer retention, analytics, and operations into one seamless growth engine.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Growth Ownership

  • Define and execute the D2C growth roadmap aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Own revenue and ROI targets for dermatouch.in (and other owned channels).
  • Leverage full-funnel strategies — from acquisition to retention — to drive scalable growth.

2. E-Commerce Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the D2C platform (Shopify / WooCommerce).
  • Optimize UI/UX, navigation, checkout experience, and product detail pages to improve conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with tech and design teams to enhance website speed, user engagement, and AOV.

3. Performance Marketing Integration

  • Work with in-house or external performance teams to scale campaigns across

    Meta, Google, YouTube, Amazon DSP,

    and

    affiliate channels.

  • Continuously optimize CAC, LTV, ROAS, and funnel drop-offs through data-driven insights.
  • Plan product launches and promotional campaigns with measurable success metrics.

4. Retention, CRM & Loyalty

  • Develop customer retention frameworks using CRM tools (Klaviyo / WebEngage / MoEngage).
  • Design automated journeys: welcome, replenishment, win-back, and loyalty programs.
  • Drive repeat purchase rate and subscription models through personalization and segmentation.

5. Analytics & Decision-Making

  • Build robust dashboards for real-time performance tracking and reporting.
  • Translate data into actionable insights across acquisition, retention, and experience.
  • Partner with finance and operations to ensure accurate forecasting and demand planning.

6. Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with product, supply chain, and creative teams for holistic campaign execution.
  • Partner with customer support to enhance post-purchase satisfaction and NPS.
  • Benchmark and implement best practices from leading D2C and beauty brands globally.


Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–6 years

    of proven experience managing D2C operations or growth in

    beauty, skincare, wellness, or FMCG.

  • Strong understanding of

    Shopify ecosystem, Meta & Google Ads, analytics, and CRO.

  • Expertise in

    funnel optimization, marketing automation,

    and

    data-led decision-making.

  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership, agility, and an obsession for metrics.

Shopify, Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo/WebEngage, Hotjar, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Excel/Looker Studio, Razorpay/Shiprocket, WhatsApp Commerce, Amazon Brand Analytics.
