Job Description

Essential Candidate Profile

  • Total experience required: 1–3 years 
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Education, Education Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in curriculum/content development for STEM/STEAM, K–12 coding, or Early Tech Education programs. 
  • Experience in creating curriculum/content with Atal Tinkering Labs, STEM/STEAM education companies, coding camps, or teaching fellowships is a plus. 
  • Experience in designing and facilitating programs for children (Grades 3–8) is essential. 
  • Knowledge of education policy and curriculum of state boards, CBSE/ICSE, Cambridge (IGCSE), or IB is desirable. 
  • Strong grounding in constructivist learning theories and child-centric pedagogies, including experiential learning, activity-based learning, and storytelling in coding. 
  • Knowledge of EdTech tools and digital content creation platforms is essential. 


Skills Required


Block Programming – Curriculum

  • Proficiency in block-based programming and visual coding tools: 
  1. Scratch, PictoBlox, MIT App Inventor 
  2. Blockly or equivalent visual programming platforms 
  • Understanding of AI for kids concepts (AI Junior modules using block coding). 
  • Ability to design creative, age-appropriate projects (e.g., games, animations, storytelling apps, basic AI demos). 
  • Familiarity with constructivist pedagogies and frameworks like Kolb’s learning cycle. 
  • Ability to integrate art, storytelling, and design thinking into coding curriculum. 
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Arduino kits, robotics integration, or beginner IoT projects using block coding. 


AI Programs – Curriculum

  • Strong proficiency in Python programming (intermediate to advanced). 
  • Solid understanding of core AI & ML concepts, including: 
  1. Machine Learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement). 
  2. Computer Vision (OpenCV, TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch). 
  3. Natural Language Processing (NLP) (NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face). 
  4. Data Science (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn). 
  5. AI Essentials (ethics, applications, fundamentals). 
  • Experience designing age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, project-based AI/ML modules. 
  • Familiarity with constructivist pedagogies, assessment design, and real-world project integration. 
  • Bonus: Exposure to cloud-based ML platforms (Google Colab, Visual Studio, Azure ML, etc.). 


Web Development – Curriculum

  • In-depth knowledge of Web Designing & Development tools and frameworks. 
  • Proficient in: 
  1. Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or similar). 
  2. Backend: Node.js, Express (or similar). 
  3. UI/UX tools: Canva, Figma, Adobe XD. 
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-platform compatibility. 
  • Experience designing age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, engaging, and technology-integrated content for learners. 
  • Ability to integrate learning theories, constructivist pedagogies, and assessment design into curriculum. 
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and cloud deployment workflows is a plus. 


Game Development – Curriculum

  • In-depth knowledge of game design principles, mechanics, and development workflows. 
  • Proficient in: 
  1. Engines: Unity (C#), Unreal Engine (C++), Construct, or Godot. 
  2. Scripting: C#, C++, or GDScript. 
  3. 2D/3D graphics, physics engines, and animation workflows. 
  • Familiarity with game storytelling, level design, and gamification strategies. 
  • Experience designing age-appropriate, curriculum-aligned, creative, and interactive learning modules. 
  • Ability to integrate learning theories, constructivist pedagogies, and assessment design into curriculum. 
  • Bonus: Exposure to VR/AR, multiplayer systems, or simulation-based learning tools. 

Flutter App Development – Curriculum

  • Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming language. 
  • Understanding of cross-platform app development (Android/iOS). 
  • Familiarity with mobile app architecture (state management, widgets, navigation). 
  • Experience with Firebase, APIs, cloud integration, and databases for app development. 
  • Ability to design capstone projects, coding challenges, and app-based activities for learners. 
  • Exposure to UI/UX design tools (Figma, Canva, Adobe XD) and integration into app workflows. 
  • Knowledge of publishing workflows for app deployment (Google Play Store, App Store). 
  • Pedagogical knowledge in constructivist approaches, project-based learning, and assessment design. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum modules, lesson plans, and projects for Flutter App Development courses. 
  • Create hands-on coding challenges, projects, and real-world app case studies for learners. 
  • Conduct QA/QC of new and existing content to ensure technical accuracy and learner engagement. 
  • Deploy curriculum content on coding platforms, LMS, and EdTech tools as required. 
  • Map curriculum to skills, technology stacks, and educational standards (CBSE, ICSE, NEP 2020, IGCSE, IB). 
  • Revise and refine content based on feedback from educators, learners, and program teams. 
  • Integrate NEP 2020 principles into curriculum by combining technology, creativity, and problem-solving. 
  • Research emerging trends in mobile development and Flutter ecosystem to keep curriculum future-ready. 
  • Collaborate with educators, developers, and content designers to create engaging learning materials. 
  • Design end-to-end projects (e.g., e-commerce apps, chat apps, productivity tools) for learner portfolios. 
  • Work with program teams to manage production, piloting, and rollout of the curriculum.

  • Contractual role for the duration of the course development. Timelines will be determined by the company, and the selected candidate is expected to work in alignment with these schedules.
