Looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 4–8 years of experience in credit underwriting of unsecured loans, who is now keen to transition from a core credit role to a broader profile spanning Credit, Business Finance, and Controllership. The role offers exposure to international underwriting across Europe, GCC, and the Middle East.

As Credit Lead, you’ll pivot your credit expertise into a commercial growth role — architecting and managing trade credit limits (₹10 L–₹5 Cr), dynamically calibrated by seasons and performance. Key Responsibilities

● End-to-end Underwriting (For both Customers in India and across the globe): Evaluate financials, credit bureau data, cash flows, and sector-specific risks (like seasonal agri cycles); recommend and revise credit limits dynamically.

● Deal Structuring: Design and structure high-value credit deals with appropriate covenants, repayment terms, and safeguards to systematically minimize risk while enabling business growth.

● Policy Design & Governance: Build and operationalize credit frameworks and SOPs for unsecured agri‑trader lending.

● Risk – Growth Balance: Optimize exposure levels—drive portfolio expansion while containing NPAs, embedding early-warning systems and health monitoring.

● Commercial Enablement: Advise sales & ops teams, promoting risk-aware decision-making.

● Portfolio Oversight: Monitor key performance indicators and oversee post-sanction follow-up.

● Field Leadership: Travel (~30%) to assess customer operations, build relationships, and lead risk reviews both within and outside India

What We’re Looking For

● Chartered Accountant with 4–8 years of credit underwriting & policy experience, especially in unsecured SME lending (₹10 L–₹5 Cr).

● Familiarity with agri-trader finance, ideally in North & West India would be cherry on the top

● Strategic thinker, able to align growth and asset quality goals.

● Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, from HQ to field teams.

● Willingness to travel up to 30%-40% for customer and portfolio oversight.
