Cost Accountant

Sambhaji Nagar (erstwhile Aurangabad), Maharashtra, marking a major step in advancing the Nation’s solar manufacturing ecosystem.

Ladhani Group is one of India’s forward looking leading diversified FMCG group with operations spanning across beverage bottling, hospitality and distribution. Ladhani Group has been on the forefront of investing and adopting solar and wind energy for their multiple manufacturing plants amongst other clean energy initiatives.

LNK Green Energy is the manufacturing JV of RED and Ladhani Group focused on integrated solar manufacturing, starting from solar cell to modules with aim to vertical manufacture solar modules from sand.

Job Description

A Cost Accounting & Analysis

1 Prepare and maintain cost records, cost sheets, and product costing statements for manufactured items (modules, cells, frames, EVA, etc.).

2 Determine standard cost and analyze actual cost variances (material, labor, and overhead

3 Track and analyze Bill of Material (BOM) costs and production yield

4 Conduct periodic reviews of cost centers and allocation of overheads to ensure accuracy.

5 Support management in pricing strategy, cost estimation for tenders, and product profitability analysis.

B Inventory & Material Cost Control

1 Verify material consumption vs. BOM to identify excess or abnormal usage.

2 Work closely with stores, planning, and procurement teams for inventory valuation and reconciliation.

3 Ensure accurate valuation of WIP (Work-in-Progress) and finished goods inventory.

4 Monitor scrap, rework, and wastage costs and propose corrective actions

5 Review stock adjustment entries and investigate discrepancies.

C Financial Reporting & MIS

1 Prepare monthly costing MIS reports, including variance analysis, cost trend summaries, and cost reduction recommendations.

2 Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory valuation.

3 Support budget preparation and review of actual vs. budgeted cost performance.

D Compliance & Audit

1 Ensure compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Companies (Cost Records and Audit) Rules, wherever applicable.

2 Prepare data for statutory cost audit and coordinate with auditors.

3 Maintain documentation for cost audit, internal audit, and statutory audit requirements.

4 Support management in implementing effective cost control measures across departments.

E Process Improvement & System Support

1 Review and improve the costing process flow for accuracy and efficiency.

2 Support ERP implementation and ensure correct mapping of cost elements and BOMs.

3 Work with the production and engineering teams to update standard costs periodically.

4 Participate in cost optimization projects and cross-functional reviews.

5 Develop an engaging management review PPT to communicate project progress, challenges, and strategies and present them to Senior Management.
