Cost Accountant

We are looking detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team at our Pune manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of cost accounting principles in a manufacturing setup. You will play a key role in analyzing costs, improving cost control, and supporting business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of standard costing and cost analysis reports for various projects undertaken by company
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation
• Support in month-end closing processes, including cost-related journal entries and reconciliations
• Analyze production efficiency, wastage, and overhead allocation
• Inventory Management and related controls
• Prepare cost reports and summaries for management review
• Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
• Responsible Cost audit and related compliances
• Key involvement in preparing the AOP / Budget and monitoring the same throughout the year.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree Commerce, CMA (ICWA) Inter or Final preferred
• 23 years of relevant experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in MS Excel and experience of SAP will be preferred.
