Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead project

  cost and commercial functions

  , including budgeting, rate analysis, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Prepare

  project budgets, estimates, tenders

  , handle bid circulation, comparisons, negotiations, finalization, and issuance of work orders.
• Manage

  pre-construction commercial activities

  including quantity surveying and contract documentation.
• Oversee

  cost management during execution

  – change orders, bill certification, payment processing, and ERP tracking.
• Handle

  commercial clearances

  and processing of

  final contractor/vendor bills

  .
• Drive

  vendor/contractor identification and development

  , ensuring best value and performance.
• Monitor and report

  commercial vs physical project progress

  .
• Maintain comprehensive

  Techno-Commercial & Contracts MIS

  .
• Implement

  value engineering solutions

  to enhance cost efficiency without compromising time or quality.
• Conduct

  regular site visits

  to ensure alignment on all techno-commercial aspects.
• Coordinate with

  design and execution teams

  for effective integration of commercial strategies.
• Work closely with

  finance/accounts departments

  for contractor/vendor payments and budget alignment.
• Prepare and update

  cash flow statements

  aligned with project timelines and budgets.

• Experience: 10 to 15 Years
• Educational Qualification:
• Mandatory: B.E. Civil
• Preferred: M.E. / M.Tech / PG in Construction Management / MBA
• Industry Background: Cost Consultancy / PMC / Real Estate / Building Construction / Contracting / EPC
