IC – SURE

• As a Consultant in our Management Consulting team, you will play a key role in providing strategic guidance and actionable insights to Upstream Oil and Gas clients. Your expertise and experience will be instrumental in helping our clients make informed decisions, improve their operations, and navigate the challenges of the industry. You will work on diverse and high-impact projects, collaborating closely with clients, team members, and industry experts.

Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement:

  Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals, and becoming a trusted advisor.

• Analysis and Assessment:

  Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, market dynamics, and client-specific challenges to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

• Strategic Planning:

  Assist clients in formulating and executing strategic plans, including business development, asset optimization, and risk management strategies.

• Operational Improvement:

  Identify opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization within the Upstream Oil and Gas sector.

• Data Analysis:

  Utilize data analytics and modeling to support decision-making and provide data-driven recommendations.

• Requirements Management:

  Experience in gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirement and creating functional specifications for new systems and processes.

• Project Management:

  Lead and coordinate consulting projects, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.

• Team Collaboration:

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging the expertise of other consultants and industry specialists to address client challenges.

• Market Research:

  Stay current with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with clients and team members.

• Client Deliverables:

  Prepare and present high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations to clients, clearly articulating complex concepts.

• Mentorship:

  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.

Additional Skills:

• The Celonis Process Mining Business Value Architect will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and optimization of Celonis process mining solutions within the organization. This individual will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and quantifying the business value derived from process mining initiatives.
• Experience in assessing as-is processes, doing gap analysis, creating to-be processes and making recommendations to implement changes. Experience in using Six Sigma, Lean and other methodologies to drive continuous process improvement in technology projects.
• Technology Project Management including managing technology vendors and client stakeholders.

• Business Value Assessment:

  Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Quantify the potential financial and operational benefits of process mining initiatives.
• Gather and understand both business and technical requirements for process mining projects
• Develop compelling business cases to secure executive buy-in and resource allocation.
• Facilitate design thinking workshops and use Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities

Process Mining Implementation:

• Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to design and implement effective process mining projects.
• Ensure data quality and integrity for accurate process analysis.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation process.

• Process Optimization:

  Analyze process mining data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and redesign.
• Create process analyses, apps, and automations using Celonis Studio to optimize business processes
• Collaborate with process owners to implement changes and measure the impact on performance.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Monitor the performance of process mining initiatives and identify opportunities for ongoing optimization.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in process mining and business process management.

Process Mining Expertise:

• Strong understanding of Celonis process mining tools and methodologies.
• Experience in data analysis, process modeling, and performance measurement.
• Explore specific process mining use cases and develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in Celonis
• Familiarity and understanding of Object Centric Process Mining (OCPM) principles and applications

Business Acumen:

• Ability to understand complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis skills.
• Expert Knowledge of Enterprise Corporate Processes and Platforms (i.e. OTC, P2P, ERP)

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).

Desired Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, or related disciplines). A master's degree is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree / Full time MBA/PGDM from Tier1/Tier2 B Schools in India or foreign equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3- 12 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Upstream Oil and Gas operations, market dynamics, and industry trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in data analysis and modeling.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Project management experience, with a track record of successfully leading consulting engagements.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Team player with the capacity to work collaboratively and mentor junior consultants.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel as required for client engagements.
• Broad understanding in one or more of latest digital technologies (Robotic Process Automation, Digital transformation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT etc.)
• Experience in a specific industry or functional area (SCM, Logistics, Inventory Management).
• Celonis Certified Process Mining Professional (CPM-P) or similar certifications.
• On a longer term, ability, and willingness to travel as required within and outside India.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of one or more digital technologies (Robotic Process Automation, Digital transformation, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data technologies, Data Analytics, IoT, Process Mining etc.) and its application in Oil & Gas Industry
• Strong knowledge of agile development practices (Scrum), methodologies and tools.
• Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority.
• Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
• Ability to interact at mid-level managers of clients’ organizations.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and to build strong relationships with clients.
