Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Commis to join our team at Taj City Centre, with 2-5 years of experience in the culinary industry.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation in all dishes.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in inventory management and stock control of ingredients.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Commis in a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
