Job Title: Chief Sales Officer (CSO) – EPC / PEB
Role Overview
The Chief Sales Officer (CSO) will be responsible for driving the strategic sales vision, business development initiatives, and revenue growth for the Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) business. This role demands a dynamic leader with deep industry expertise, strong client networks, and the ability to build high-performing sales teams. The CSO will collaborate with leadership, operations, and finance to ensure profitable growth and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor the strategic sales plan for achieving organizational goals.
• Identify and capture domestic and international business opportunities within the PEB sector.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, consultants, EPC companies, and developers.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a large sales team to deliver consistent results.
• Collaborate with project, design, and execution teams to align client needs with company capabilities.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to refine pricing and sales strategies.
• Represent the company in industry forums, trade exhibitions, and conferences to promote brand visibility.
• Report sales performance, pipeline forecasts, and market trends to the Board/CEO on a regular basis.

1. Revenue Growth & Sales Targets – Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets in line with company objectives.
2. Market Penetration – Expand business into new geographies and industry verticals.
3. Client Acquisition & Retention – Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure repeat business.
4. Team Leadership & Development – Build, mentor, and retain a high-performance sales team.
5. Profitability Management – Drive profitable sales with focus on margins and cost control.
6. Strategic Alliances – Develop partnerships with consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.

• Revenue Achievement: % of annual and quarterly revenue targets achieved (Target: 100%+).
• New Client Acquisition: Number of new clients/projects secured per quarter.
• Client Retention Rate: % of repeat business from existing clients.
• Market Share Growth: % increase in company’s market share within PEB industry.
• Bid-Win Ratio: Ratio of successful project bids to total bids submitted (Target > 40%).
• Sales Pipeline Health: Value of qualified opportunities in pipeline (3x annual target).
• Team Performance Metrics: % of sales team achieving individual targets.
• Profit Margins: Gross margin % achieved per project vs. planned margin.
• Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI): Feedback score from clients post-project execution.
• Travel & Client Engagements: Number of strategic client visits, presentations, and networking activities per month.

Requirements
• 15+ years of proven sales leadership experience in PEB/Construction/Infrastructure industries.
• Strong industry network with architects, consultants, EPC contractors, and developers.
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth, client acquisition, and team leadership.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• MBA in Marketing/Business Development preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across regions and internationally.
