About Unity Growth Fund:

Unity Growth Fund is a Washington-based venture capital firm backing world-class founders in AI, robotics, semiconductors, and frontier technologies. We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our brand, communications, and ecosystem engagement strategy.

Role Overview:

As CMO, you will define and execute marketing that amplifies Unity Growth Fund’s presence across global innovation ecosystems, strengthen LP and founder communications, and support our portfolio companies with scalable brand and growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow Unity’s LP base (HNIs, family offices, institutions).
• Drive inbound and outbound investor engagement through targeted campaigns, events, and roadshows.
• Prepare compelling pitch decks, newsletters, and investor communications.
• Manage CRM systems and track investor pipeline, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Oversee Unity’s digital brand (website, LinkedIn, press, newsletters) ensuring consistent positioning.
• Collaborate with partners and investment team on fundraising and portfolio marketing initiatives.
• Track and report on fundraising KPIs, pipeline status, and campaign outcomes.
• Build and lead Unity Growth Fund’s global marketing and communications platform.
• Partner with the investment and IR teams to shape narratives for LPs, founders, and media.
• Drive thought leadership, events, and digital campaigns that elevate our profile.
• Advise portfolio companies on marketing and growth best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 – 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or investor relations within venture capital, private equity, or financial services.
• MBA (from a top-tier school is highly valued, especially in US/EU funds).
• Specialized Master’s (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Strategic Management).
• Strong understanding of fundraising dynamics and investor engagement.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred:

• Established network of LPs and investor contacts.
• Prior experience supporting fundraising in venture capital or startups.
