About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing strategy in the mechanical engineering and industrial manufacturing sector. The CMO will be responsible for positioning the company as a global leader in engineering solutions, driving brand visibility, strengthening market penetration, and enabling sales growth through innovative marketing and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build and enhance the company’s brand identity as a trusted leader in mechanical engineering and manufacturing solutions.
• Collaborate with the executive team to shape long-term market growth and competitive advantage.
Market Development & Demand Generation
• Identify and expand into new markets, industries, and geographies.
• Drive demand generation campaigns to support sales pipelines and revenue growth.
• Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Branding & Communication
• Strengthen corporate branding, product branding, and employer branding initiatives.
• Oversee PR, media relations, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums.
• Lead thought-leadership initiatives, whitepapers, and technical marketing to position the company as an industry authority.
Digital & Modern Marketing
• Drive digital transformation in marketing, leveraging tools such as marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms.
• Oversee content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and website optimization.
• Implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies for high-value industrial clients.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team.
• Work closely with sales, product development, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of marketing with business needs.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to track marketing performance and ROI.
Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record in B2B industrial / mechanical engineering / manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of global industrial markets, buyer behaviors, and technical marketing.
• Expertise in brand management, digital marketing, and demand generation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical offerings into compelling value propositions.
