About the Role

We seek a dynamic, self-driven leader to join us as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role will be pivotal in overseeing all finance and accounting operations, leading sales and commercial finance initiatives, and advising executive management on the financial impact of business decisions. The CFO will be instrumental in shaping financial organizational strategies, providing critical analysis and recommendations, and aligning functional objectives with broader company goals.

Location: Vasind (Thane District), Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership:

  Directly oversee all financial and accounting functions, and lead the Sales & Commercial Finance divisions. Provide executive management with strategic advice on the financial implications of all business activities. Drive the continuous evaluation and development of short and medium-term strategic financial objectives.

• Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, in full compliance with the Companies Act and IND-AS. Manage all aspects of Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing, and Statutory Audit, adhering to the Income Tax Act and ICDS.

• Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:

  Oversee monthly cash flow planning and monitoring, optimize working capital (both CAPEX and OPEX), and manage overall fund allocation effectively.

• Business Planning & Optimization:

  Regularly review the business plan, providing critical inputs for cost reduction initiatives and margin optimization strategies.

• Systems, Compliance & Governance:

  Ensure seamless GST implementation and 100% compliance. Develop and maintain appropriate IT interfaces to support Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain activities. Generate regular MIS reports to track and quantify cost reductions resulting from GST implementation.

• Value-Added Facilities Coordination:

  Coordinate all financial aspects related to the sale, purchase, or conversion processes for newly identified value-added facilities.

• Business Analytics & Insights:

  Develop comprehensive MIS packs for monthly senior management reviews. Regularly review and benchmark cost parameters, and efficiently conduct complete cost audits. Utilize advanced analytics to generate business insights and support data-driven decision-making.

• Incentives & Government Liaison:

  Strategize and liaise with government bodies for Production Linked Incentives and State Government Incentives.

• Process Improvement & Internal Controls:

  Lead automation initiatives and continuously improve internal controls across finance and operational processes.

• Capital Expenditure Evaluation:

  Thoroughly evaluate CAPEX proposals, including IRR analysis, payback period calculations, and comprehensive business modeling.

• Related Party Compliance:

  Ensure full compliance with SEBI and Companies Act requirements regarding Related Party transactions.

Skill Set & Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven experience with multi-plant manufacturing operations and integrated supply chains.
• Some background in financing, structuring, and working capital solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with modern analytics tools such as PowerBI or Anaplan.
• Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead large teams

Experience

15+ years of post qualification experience with some plant manufacturing experience preferred.
