Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie-South Indian to join our team at Marriott International. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in South Indian cuisine and excellent culinary skills.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, and basic knowledge of food safety protocols.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a flexible and positive attitude.
