Job Description

As a [Job Position], your role involves preparing special meals or substitute items, regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters, and ensuring proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnishing. You will be responsible for pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, maintaining food logs, and monitoring the quality and quantity of prepared food. During busy periods, you will communicate assistance needed and inform the Chef of excess food items for daily specials. Additionally, you will inform the Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items, ensuring the quality of food items and preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Cold food preparation is also part of your responsibilities.
