Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Ahmedabad. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing tax returns, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role also involves budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and providing strategic financial advice to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and costing activities
• Prepare annual budgets, implement budgetary controls, and conduct variance analysis
• Monitor and control capital expenditure (CAPEX), overdue payables, and receivables
• Ensure compliance with direct and indirect taxation laws, including handling assessments and appeals
• Oversee statutory, tax, and internal audits; ensure timely finalization of accounts
• Generate and analyze financial MIS reports for management decision-making

Required Qualifications:

• Education: CA – complete compulsory / M.Com / B.Com
• Proficient in Tally and ERP systems
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or large trading organization is essential
• Strong knowledge of taxation (direct & indirect) and costing principles
• Excellent analytical and planning abilities
• Proven skills in team management and development
• Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Technical Competencies:

• Strong analytical thinking and financial acumen
• Proficiency in data mining and interpretation
• In-depth technical knowledge of accounting standards, GST, and income tax regulation
