Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled CDP & Commis to join our team at ATHIVA Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate should have 0-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.

Roles and Responsibility
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing high-quality dishes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook various Continental dishes, including starters, main courses, and desserts.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including ovens, refrigerators, and dish washing machines.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality food products.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
