We are seeking an exceptional Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Innovationsand Automations team.FOAA Innovations and Automations team drives scale and productivity for FOAA by developingreporting and automation solutions. The person in this position will play a key role insupporting the development of tools and reports used by the FOAA and Accountingorganizations. The person will own BI support for FOAA by leading the creation of automatedsolutions to complex business problems. This person will help develop analytical solutions andleverage our optimized and scalable datasets, with opportunities to utilize emergingtechnologies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building tools that provide uniqueinsights to leaders of FOAA.
The Primary Responsibilities Of This Role Are To
- Work with our customers to understand their needs and design reporting solutions that will
exceed expectations
- Develop flexible and scalable solutions using new technologies
- Automate existing processes where needed
- Debug report issues, unblock workflows and Communicate with other teams and customers to
provide status updates
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams and in a fast-paced and ever-changing
environment.

- SQL (Oracle and Redshift), ETL tools (internal)
- Python
- Tableau/Quicksight
- Report scheduling tools (internal)
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and driven to provide insightful and timelyinformation to customers. The candidate should have strong communication skills and ability toprioritize effectively to ensure timelines are met. There is always room to make things better sothis candidate should also have the ability to invent and simplify
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with one or more industry analytics visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. t-test, Chi-squared)
- Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or Advanced technical degree
- Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
- Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
