ob Summary:

The Business Head – TCL Brand (Kerala) will lead the overall B2B sales, distribution, and strategic business growth for TCL Smart TVs, Smart ACs, and connected appliances across Kerala. This leadership role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding the dealer and institutional network, building strong channel relationships, and positioning TCL as a preferred premium smart technology brand in the state.

Key Responsibilities:

//1. Business Strategy & Sales Growth

  • Develop and execute the state-level business plan for the TCL brand across Kerala.
  • Drive B2B and channel sales performance to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in dealer, retail, and institutional segments.
  • Implement effective pricing, schemes, and incentive structures to maximize sales.

2. Channel & Dealer Development

  • Build, strengthen, and expand the TCL dealer and distribution network across Kerala.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key dealers and channel partners.
  • Ensure brand visibility, stock availability, and effective display management at partner locations.
  • Plan and execute dealer engagement programs, promotions, and loyalty initiatives.

3. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the B2B sales team (Area Sales Managers, Executives, and Coordinators).
  • Define clear targets, monitor performance, and ensure high productivity levels.
  • Conduct regular training and skill development sessions for the sales team.

4. Brand & Market Development

  • Collaborate with the TCL brand team for new product launches, campaigns, and brand activations.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and premium product positioning in all B2B channels.

5. Operational & Financial Control

  • Monitor sales forecasts, inventory planning, and credit management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing structures, and collection timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Finance, Logistics, and MIS) for smooth operations.

6. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to management.
  • Provide business insights, competitor analysis, and growth projections.
  • Track key performance metrics such as sales achievement, dealer growth, and profitability.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in B2B / Channel Sales in consumer electronics, smart TVs, or home appliances.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to drive multi-district operations and achieve high-volume sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM-based reporting tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 8–12 years in B2B or Consumer Electronics Sales, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or state head role.
  • Location Focus: Kerala (frequent travel required across districts).
  • Driving License: Mandatory.
