As a tech platform, Vegrow partners with farmers, aggregates supply, and sells to organized demand through strategic partnerships. Vegrow simplifies farming practices and improves land utilization for farmers. The company is a VC-funded startup, founded by a group of IITians with a passion for agtech. The team brings experience from agri-input and agri-output companies like AgroStar and ITC, as well as from building and scaling products at organizations such as UrbanCompany and Chronus.

Location: Bangalore (Work From Office, 5 days a week)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented BizFin Partner with 3-7 years of core Business Finance (BizFin) or FP&A experience. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, hands-on experience with financial modeling, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic financial decisions. Early joiners are preferred, and we are open to buying out the notice period for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including revenue forecasting, cost assessments, and profitability evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
• Commercial Negotiations: Lead and participate in commercial negotiations with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms and agreements.
• Business Case Development: Develop and evaluate business cases for various initiatives, providing recommendations for investment decisions.
• Metrics Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Budgeting and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create bottom-up budgets and annual operating plans, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
• MIS Reporting: Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports to senior leadership, delivering critical financial insights and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance (or both) from a reputable institution.
• 4-7 years of hands-on experience in BizFin or FP&A.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience working with MySQL and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio) is essential.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

Travel Requirements:

• 10%-30% travel within India to understand business needs, engage with vendors, and meet customers.
