Business Development Specialist

The Business Development (BD) professional in Customer Service will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities focused on customer service solutions. This role involves working closely with potential clients to understand their service needs and offering tailored solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and service delivery.

Key Objectives:

• Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients for customer service outsourcing or solution partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose customized customer service solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings to position the company as a preferred partner.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the customer service domain (voice, chat, email, social media support, etc.).
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
• Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in alignment with company goals.
• Work with operations, training, and quality teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition of new clients.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular updates to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3–6 years of experience in business development, preferably in BPO or customer service solutions.
• Strong understanding of customer service operations and client expectations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
