Position Overview

We're seeking a founding Business Development Representative to drive our outbound sales efforts in the US SaaS market. This is a unique opportunity to build our sales foundation from the ground up, with a clear path to Account Executive promotion within 1-2 years. You'll be instrumental in establishing our sales processes and hitting aggressive growth targets in the competitive EOR and talent acquisition space.


Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting campaigns targeting US SaaS companies seeking global expansion
  • Conduct 50+ cold calls daily to C-level executives and HR leaders at target companies
  • Generate and qualify 20+ SQLs monthly through strategic outreach and relationship building
  • Collaborate with founding team to develop and refine sales messaging and positioning strategies
  • Maintain detailed prospect data and sales activity tracking in CRM systems
  • Partner with marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns and conversion funnels
  • Represent Gloroots at virtual industry events and networking opportunities


Must-Have Requirements

  • 2-4 years of outbound BDR experience selling to US SaaS companies
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota targets in previous BDR roles
  • Experience making 50+ cold calls daily with strong phone-based selling skills
  • Track record of generating 15+ qualified leads per month through outbound efforts
  • Experience selling B2B SaaS solutions with deal sizes ranging $10K-$100K annually
  • Strong understanding of US SaaS market dynamics and buyer personas
  • Willingness to work from Bangalore office full-time with US market hours overlap


Nice to Have

  • Previous experience selling EOR, HR tech, or workforce management solutions
  • Experience working at early-stage startups or founding team environments
  • Knowledge of international hiring, compliance, or payroll processes
  • Track record of promotion from BDR to AE role within 18 months
