Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a BDR

1. Prospecting Outreach

Identify potential customers through research, tools, and market data. Build Daily TAL of 10 accounts
Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and social outreach (e.g., LinkedIn). Conduct 10-20 daily calls
Personalize messaging to engage prospects effectively. Get to 10 weekly meetings.

2. Lead Qualification

Hold initial conversations to understand a prospect s needs, challenges, and fit.
Use qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC, ICP criteria).
Determine whether leads should advance to AEs. Handover 10 weekly meetings to AE.

3. Pipeline Generation

Create a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
Track all prospect interactions in a Salesforce

4. Collaboration with Sales Marketing

Schedule meetings or demos for Account Executives.
Provide feedback to marketing on what messaging resonates.
Align with sales on target accounts and outbound strategies.

5. Follow-Up Nurturing

Maintain communication with prospects who aren t immediately ready to buy.
Send relevant content and reminders to keep leads warm.

6. Reporting Performance Tracking

Maintain accurate activity logs.
Report on KPIs: calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, opportunities created.

7. Continuous Learning

Stay informed about the product, competitors, and industry trends to improve outreach.
Test new messaging, channels, and cadences to optimize performance.
