Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales & Traffic at Guardians Xpress. The Sales & Traffic officer will be responsible for day-to-day logistics management, coordination of transportation services, and overseeing the movement of goods. Hiring trailers from Open Market / Brokers and placing the vehicles at client places , Placement of all types of vehicles from Ch. Sambhaji Nagar and near by MIDC areas to Overall Pan India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in all Industry sector, including e-commerce companies, technology manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, and use this information to develop tailored business development strategies.
• Arrange market vehicles for project and general cargo across Pan-India.
• Develop a strong transporter/vendor network for cost-effective vehicle procurement.
• Ensure timely placement and movement of vehicles as per project requirements.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively identifying and engaging potential clients.
• Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the unique value propositions and benefits of our logistics services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth onboarding and seamless delivery of services to clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability while meeting customer requirements and market standards.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the technology and consumer durables sector, including senior executives, supply chain managers, and procurement officers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and develop innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to the management team, highlighting key performance metrics, sales achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to the technology and consumer durables sector and ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards in all business activities. Skills and Competencies Required.
