Position:

Business Development Manager / Executive

General Responsibilities

  • Initiate and develop product and positioning plans for new market opportunities.
  • Size markets and develop profitable business plans and timelines for target markets/products.
  • Generate sales leads, follow up on internally generated leads, and support existing customers.
  • Provide frequent, in-depth product demonstrations.
  • Prepare business plans, provide forecasting data, and manage to plan as product and market dynamics evolve.
  • Manage complex enterprise solution sales opportunities with 6–12+ month sales cycles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of market trends and opportunities, building frameworks to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Research and gather market intelligence on customer needs, competitive offerings, and product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and the Managing Director for efficient and effective marketing, advertising, and promotional planning.

Experience & Qualifications

  • MBA / Engineer / Graduate with the ability to initiate, develop, and execute business strategies and key initiatives.
  • Preferably from the Audio Visual / IT Industry, handling corporate or government customers. (Software sales candidates are not a right fit)
  • Prior experience in selling to Government or Corporate customers.
  • Ability to interact with and influence senior management.
  • Strong team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to unstructured, dynamic environments.
  • Strong understanding of IT networking, audio visual industry, CCTV market, or all.
  • Own conveyance required at the time of the interview.
  • Sales experience with end customers is a must. (Selling to reseller partners is not a fit)
