JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead sales growth and drive market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling educational products (for both kids and adults), meeting sales KPIs, and leading teams effectively. This is a leadership role where you will not only acquire new business but also mentor and guide a team of 8–10 members towards achieving collective sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Identify, engage, and acquire new clients for Supernova’s AI-driven tutoring solutions.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of 8–10 sales executives, setting clear goals and ensuring targets are achieved.
Sales Strategy: Develop, execute, and monitor effective sales strategies to maximize lead-to-sales conversion.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and onboarding teams to optimize funnels and enhance client engagement.
Market Insights: Conduct research, analyze trends, and share actionable insights to refine sales processes.
Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, review performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Required Skills & Qualities:
Languages: Proficiency in English and Tamil is mandatory.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record in achieving targets.
Energetic, persistent, and ambitious mindset with problem-solving ability.
Knowledge of WhatsApp-based sales funnels preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and align sales with business goals.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
Prior experience in EdTech or educational product sales is highly desirable.
2–5 years of proven business development and team management experience.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary: ₹5 LPA to ₹8 LPA (commensurate with experience).
KPIs: Lead-to-sales conversion ratio, monthly sales targets, and team performance.
