Role & responsibilities 1. Operate plant machinery and equipment as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). 2. Set up machines before production and ensure proper calibration and adjustments. 3. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. 4. Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery. 5. Report mechanical issues or breakdowns immediately to the maintenance team. 6. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area and machinery. 7. Record daily production data and submit reports to the supervisor. 8. Follow safety protocols, use protective equipment, and ensure compliance with company policies. 9. Assist in training new operators when required. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / B.Tech (preferred in Mechanical). Prior experience as an Operator in a manufacturing/plant environment preferred with an experience of 3-5 years. Basic mechanical and technical knowledge of plant machinery. Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and SOPs. Good attention to detail and quality standards. Physically fit and capable of standing for long hours. Commitment to safety and teamwork. Location: Kochi Working Hours: Shiftwise, should be flexible towards working hours. Environment: Factory / Plant-based, requires use of protective gear.
