Job Summary:


Business Development Manager (BDM)


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities in

    institutional, corporate, and industrial catering

    sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and market expansion goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas.
  • Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations, proposals, and tenders (RFPs/RFQs).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and finalize catering contracts in line with company policies and profitability standards.
  • Coordinate with the

    operations, culinary, and finance teams

    to ensure smooth execution of catering projects.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and manage account renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.

  • Qualifications and Experience:


    • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management

      , Business Administration, or Food & Beverage Management

      (or related field).
    • 5+ years of experience

      in business development or sales within the

      Food & Beverage or Catering industry

      .
    • Proven experience in

      institutional or industrial catering sales

      (corporate, government, hospitals, education, or oil & gas sectors preferred).
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
    • Excellent understanding of catering operations and client service standards.
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and travel as required.
