Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Business Development Manager to build and scale Mud Studios’ client base. You’ll be responsible for acquiring new clients in need of video content creation , digital marketing , brand storytelling , and AI-driven content strategy . You’ll have the unique opportunity to work with leading film directors and creative talent from the industry to co-create next-generation content formats , including immersive videos, AI-assisted storytelling, and cinematic digital campaigns. Key Responsibilities Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities for digital video production, brand campaigns, and social content Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline; deliver measurable growth in project revenue Understand client briefs, coordinate with internal creative leads to craft winning proposals and pitch decks Leverage connections in FMCG, D2C, startups, travel, fintech, lifestyle, and B2B sectors to generate leads Represent Mud Studios at industry events, marketing meetups, and pitch forums Collaborate with internal teams (content, strategy, creative) and film directors on premium content formats Champion Mud’s positioning in AI-powered content and modern brand storytelling What We’re Looking For 5+ years of agency-side or video production business development experience Demonstrated ability to bring in new clients and close mid-size to large-ticket projects (₹5L to ₹50L+) A solid understanding of video production workflows, timelines, and pricing Familiarity with performance marketing, SEO/SEM, and content-driven digital campaigns Strong written and verbal communication skills – you can own a pitch from deck to deal Proven ability to deliver quick wins and work under startup-style execution timelines Experience in client servicing, sales strategy, and long-term account management is a plus Nice to Have Network in startups, VC-backed D2C brands, and lifestyle sectors Experience in influencer/content creator ecosystem Worked in a hybrid agency-model (both creative and performance-driven work) Why Join Us?
